Lisa began her career as a Tax Advisor with the accounting firm Ernst & Young where she worked in the Expatriate Department. She then spent two years with the local firm Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser working with high net worth families on anything and everything related to their taxes and finances. In 1999, Lisa joined the Personal Financial Services department at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she continued to work with high net worth families as well as corporate executives. In addition to tax work, Lisa was involved in all areas of their financial planning, including retirement planning, estate planning, education planning and stock option planning.
Lisa started her own practice in 2003 and now works with approximately 100 clients from all walks of life. As she has done speaking at several real estate offices and to real estate investors, many of her clients are involved in that area. Many of her clients are self-employed as well.
Lisa earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She continued her academic pursuits and also earned a Master's degree in Taxation from DePaul University. Lisa became an Enrolled Agent, licensed to represent her clients before the IRS, in 1997.
Lisa is a member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners.
